Baby Hates The Vest

I think my baby officially hates the Vest. It always wakes her up and she usually starts stretching wildly. She is currently kinda transverse. Her head is by my left hip and her feet are on my right side above my belly button, but not all the way to the ribs. She pushes her little legs out as far as she can (against my side) when I vest. I am not sure if she is squished and trying to make more room or what. This morning she was stretching so hard it was hurting. I placed my fingers against the pain and I could feel her little feet!!! I have felt her feet kick before or briefly push by, but these little feet were not moving. I tried to apply a little (as in a minuscule) amount of pressure to get her to move, but she would not budge. Seriously, the coolest feeling ever. At the same time I felt horrible because I sensed that she wasn't the happiest camper since it seemed as if she was trying to avoid the vibrations by shimmying down my torso and stretching out as far as she could in her cramped corridors.

  1. Awww! You know, the funny thing is, she will probably fall sleep in your arms while you're vesting once she's born. :)

I'm so excited to read your posts because I love the way you describe your pregnancy. I have been over the moon for you throughout the whole pregnancy, and I can't wait to see pictures of Peanut!!

    1. I hope you are right about her liking it after she is here! I will absolutely post pics of her when she comes. So many you may get sick of her ;)

  2. Bummer! Most of my friends who have had pregnancies have said their babies loved the Vest and fell asleep when they put it on. Hopefully she gets to like it a little better once she's on the other side! ;)

    1. I wish that were the case! I guess I have no proof she is stretching in discomfort, but considering it feels like she is trying to bust out the side of my body I have a feeling she isn't just getting comfy. I do hope she learns to like it!!

  3. I've always wondered how pregnant women can comfortably wear the vest once they get bigger. Did you have to get a bigger size or is it just adjustable enough that it works? Is it uncomfortable to wear now?

  4. It is not uncomfortable, but I have to unlatch the bottom 2 straps because of my belly. There are 4 straps in all so only my chest, sides, and upper back get any vibrations. My lower lobes miss out. I bought a video camera for baby. Once I figure out how to use it I will post a video of vesting with a big pregnant belly!
