I agree that sometimes you are so sick you will do anything, even leave your baby, just to feel better. :( I hope we both have a nice streak of good health!!Inhaling Hopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10487999036810367535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054655337883254442.post-49680094046328843662013-03-22T22:22:04.983-07:002013-03-22T22:22:04.983-07:00I can totally relate to your feelings. The worst ...I can totally relate to your feelings. The worst possible thing is when you are lying on the couch watching your mom take care of your baby because you just can't. I felt so sick I actually wanted to be in hospital even though it meant being away from my babies. Thank goodness you have family close by as well. Hopefully it will be a long time before family has to step in again.Montessori Beginningshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10326059314563267510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054655337883254442.post-65155870341255722322013-03-22T19:40:21.938-07:002013-03-22T19:40:21.938-07:00Having family makes it easier, but if you have clo...Having family makes it easier, but if you have close friends I am sure they would help out. I had friends bring food and offered to stay, but I didn't need them to because of my fam. I would rather my sister see me unshowered and gross than them, but if I didn't have my sister I would have absolutely taken my friends up on the offer and just swallowed my embarrassment. Also, my husband would have had to take time off of work which he didn't do. He works evenings so luckily my family was free when he went to work.

I feel so frustrated for you that you had to get sick now especially for doing so very well throughout pregnancy. I am hoping that the mix of Kalydeco and the abx you get when she is born will allow you to have a milder illness than you normally would experience.

The good thing about newborns is that they sleep A LOT even though it is in very short increments as I am sure you know. So as much as it is horrible to be sick now hopefully you can rest whenever CK rests which will be all the time. And no matter how absolutely awful you feel you will still enjoy that sweet baby cuddled up in your arms, nothing can take that away from you. Also, have your family wait on you hand and foot. You deserve it!Inhaling Hopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10487999036810367535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054655337883254442.post-36444647421218102972013-03-22T11:16:02.288-07:002013-03-22T11:16:02.288-07:00You are very lucky to have access to so much famil...You are very lucky to have access to so much family!!! I worry about what will happen when I am that sick... guess we'll have to take it one day at a time. I've been thinking about this a lot this morning. I am feeling really frustrated and resentful that after this healthy and wonderful pregnancy, I will now be experiencing the first days/weeks/however long of my newborn's life pretty sick. I'm afraid that it will just be so hard and frustrating that I'll end up not being able to enjoy any of it. :( Luckily, my family is coming to visit this week and will be able to stay for a week or two after she comes (depending on when she actually gets here!!!) so I am very glad about that!cindy baldwinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01173344689280406987noreply@blogger.com
